Seasons Change...Week 23

Season:  one of the four periods of the year (spring, summer, autumn, and winter), beginning astronomically at an equinox or solstice, but geographically at different dates in different climates.

Every morning on our way to my daughters school  we go past a ranch with a long row of big trees that surely change with the seasons but we hardly notice.  My kids and I have decided to embark on a project that will help us notice that gradual change on the trees.  My daughter Sophia  will take at least a weekly picture after school for a whole year, I will post it on my blog entry on Thursdays and my little one Xavi wants in it too so he will take a picture of some cows from a different ranch and improve his picture taking skills.

These pictures were taken on 3-9-11 It was a very nice 83 degree day!  Not really sure but I think we're getting closer to seeing green here maybe next week for Saint Patty's.  Remember I am focusing now on a specific tree.

Cow story:  the cows we used to take pictures of have been missing since December.  Kids are on the lookout!

This time we went to the Hemet Auto Mall.  This is actually the first time we drove around there.  Forget about the cows the kids got all excited with all those brand new shiny cars!!  I was a little hesitant because (no offense in case anyone who reads this is a car salesperson or the husband is)  you know how car salespeople are...well they want to sell.   The kids wanted to choose 'their car' and sure enough a salesperson approached us:

Me- Hi there!  Is it ok if I take a couple of pictures of my kids?
SP- So you're not buying a car?
Me- No, not really.
SP- It's ok go ahead.

All three pictures were taken at different dealers.

Xavi went for the yellow camaro "look it's Bumble Bee"  from the movie Transformers.

Sophia wanted a convertible, there wasn't one so she went for this Hummer!
For reals I just wanted to gt out of there!  So I picked this Silverado truck.

This is a funny story, so I have to tell it to you.   I drive a Toyota Tundra 2001.  We got it brand new when I was pregnant with Sophia.  Due to my pregnant 'condition' my husband had a difficult time letting me drive it at first.  Ten yrs and three kids later...now he refers to it as 'my truck'.  I love my Tundra and still runs great!

Till next week!
