Season's Change...Week 44

Season:  one of the four periods of the year (spring, summer, autumn, and winter), beginning astronomically at an equinox or solstice, but geographically at different dates in different climates.

Every morning on our way to my daughters school  we go past a ranch with a long row of big trees that surely change with the seasons but we hardly notice.  My kids and I have decided to embark on a project that will help us notice that gradual change on the trees.  My daughter Sophia  will take at least a weekly picture after school for a whole year, I will post it on my blog entry on Thursdays and my little one Xavi wants in it too so he will take a picture of some cows from a different ranch and improve his picture taking skills.

This picture was taken on 8-31-11  Next week will be our last post on Seasons Change.  These trees have now different shades of green, some have started to turn yellow and some leaves are falling now.  Yes fall is just around the corner.

Cow story:  the cows we used to take pictures of have been missing since December.  Kids are on the lookout!

As far as the cow search we have not had any luck!  We thought we tried our luck with some scratchers at our chance for some moolah!  no luck either :(

Today is my mom's Birthday she is 59! I love and admire her very much for the woman she is and pray to God that he will keep her healthy for many more years to come!

Sophia had a fever last night and her stomach was queasy, lots of fluids, rest and some Tylenol... and no school today!  We will call my mom later in the morning to wish her a Happy Birthday and we will see her on the weekend.

    y con forme avance el año, más difícil será encontrar vacas, bueno, al menos lo intentaste con el rasca, jejeje, upss, no me quedó claro si ganaste o no.
