We did it! we were able to buy the tree and deck it out. Of course you always come home and realize that it is not the most perfect tree. Just like last year I laid low and let the kids do their decorating while listening to Christmas music. Xavi and Sophia managed to knock the tree down and the carpet got soaked in water :/ and they almost did it again. We used the same ornaments we used last year plus other ones we had from previous years. I really don't mind because it's all worth it when you hear the kids saying that this is the most beautiful tree in the whole wide world!
We also got out little Nativity scene out, because after all
Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

ups about the tree ;) It's very nice that you let kids decorate it. That's how it should be, I know plenty of people going after the perfectionism and not letting the children to do the job.
ReplyDeleteMy plastic tree is still waiting... I love to do it just before the X-mas
Ahh I love that I can see the tree and of course the Nativity. I have my tiny one right near the tree and I love it. x
ReplyDeleteYay!!! What would decorating be without at least 1 disaster? This will be a funny memory for your family...the year the kids knocked over the tree!
