Seasons Change...Week 29

Season:  one of the four periods of the year (spring, summer, autumn, and winter), beginning astronomically at an equinox or solstice, but geographically at different dates in different climates.

Every morning on our way to my daughters school  we go past a ranch with a long row of big trees that surely change with the seasons but we hardly notice.  My kids and I have decided to embark on a project that will help us notice that gradual change on the trees.  My daughter Sophia  will take at least a weekly picture after school for a whole year, I will post it on my blog entry on Thursdays and my little one Xavi wants in it too so he will take a picture of some cows from a different ranch and improve his picture taking skills.

I finally can take a picture of the whole scene while driving!  (I am pretty sure that you've figured out that it's  I who's been taking the pictures)

Cow story:  the cows we used to take pictures of have been missing since December.  Kids are on the lookout!

We have been busy this week we didn't have time to plot our cow search. My father in law has been visiting and he lost his phone.  Yesterday we went out to shop for a phone for him.  We were riding on his car, got to the parking lot.  We all got out of the car (we meaning five people) and as I looked back to see who was holding Xavi's hand I didn't see him.  He was locked inside the car.  It so happened that he climbed to the front seat where I sat and grandpa thought I would help him out.  Since he was sitting in the back seat I thought grandpa would help him out.  My poor baby was hitting the window and crying (OK so it was 10 seconds but he was crying desperately and he told me "you forgot me..." my heart broke :(  I've never thought this would happen to me.

Once we went in the store, the first thing we saw was a vault door and we all made sure Xavi didn't get locked in there.  Sad story!
