Seasons Change ...Week 27

Season:  one of the four periods of the year (spring, summer, autumn, and winter), beginning astronomically at an equinox or solstice, but geographically at different dates in different climates.

Every morning on our way to my daughters school  we go past a ranch with a long row of big trees that surely change with the seasons but we hardly notice.  My kids and I have decided to embark on a project that will help us notice that gradual change on the trees.  My daughter Sophia  will take at least a weekly picture after school for a whole year, I will post it on my blog entry on Thursdays and my little one Xavi wants in it too so he will take a picture of some cows from a different ranch and improve his picture taking skills.

There it is a hint of green!!  Can you see it??  These pictures were taken on 4-5-11

Cow story:  the cows we used to take pictures of have been missing since December.  Kids are on the lookout!

So following with the cow story and living in a valley surrounded by mountains the kids and I thought of climbing one of the tallest mountains in Hemet to see if we could find them!

Here it is one of the tallest mountains in Hemet!

Well...it's really a park.

A park built around big rocky hills and just so you know
there were more people camera in hand taking pictures.

Climbing these rocks ah!  I can do it with my eyes closed!!  Sophia said!

But little Xavi was having seconds thoughts.

A little help here!

Ok stop, rest, picture, go.

They finally made it to Summit!

Xavi wanted to go to the kiddies playground instead and climb on his own the big plastic rock.  No luck!

Then he tried to climb the middle plastic rock...he couldn't make it either!

Sophia came to the rescue just in time for a shot!

...he finally was able to climb on his own on the little rock he could even jump down!

This only proves to me that my baby Xavi (as we call him most of the time at home)
as though as he think he is, is still a baby... my baby!  We will still keep
an eye out for the cows!
